House League Starts this Week

The recreational league begins with the first practice this evening for the players schedule for Mondays and Wednesdays.  We are still missing in coaches in each age group so you may not have been contacted by a coach.  Even though some of you have not been contacted by a coach please show up at your scheduled time and field location.  There will be club officials there to greet you and run the practice.  For those of you practicing and playing Tuesdays and Thursdays the same procedure applies.

Please make sure your child has shin guards, water, and soccer shoes (preferred but not mandatory).

Thank you playing with Thornhill Soccer Club and see you at the field tonight!

House league starts the week of May 26th

Hello parents and players of the Thornhill Soccer Club.  We are all very excited about the start of the 2014 Summer Season!  Please note we that we have been advised The City of Markham that the fields at Bayview Reservoir will be closed next week and the other fields may be closed if we get any more rain in the next 2-3 days.  Given this situation we would like to avoid last minute cancellations  and in consideration of peoples schedules we feel it is best to start the first practices the week of May 26th.  You will be contacted by your child’s coach next week to advise you of the first practice.

Herb Schranz’s retirement

We would like to thank Herb Schranz for his dedication and contribution to the success of Thornhill Soccer Club over the past 28 years. Herb has decided to retire and we wish him much happiness and success in all his future endeavors. At this time we are also please to announce that Eddie Gonsalves will take over Herb’s role as executive director of the Thornhill Soccer Club.
