House League Registration Now Open

Thornhill Soccer Club is planning for a 2021 season similar to other years. However, with the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, there may be a need for flexibility and potential modifications to our programs.

Note that any reduction in program length due to provincial or regional health orders may require a pro-rated reduction in fees.

Thornhill Soccer Club (TSC) offers recreational soccer programming that is primarily devoted to a soccer player’s enjoyment and development without emphasizing stringent travel or high-level competition.  The purpose of recreational or house league soccer is to provide an opportunity for all TSC participants (coaches, officials and players) to have fun, be active, learn the “beautiful game,” and develop life skills, including a lifelong love of the game.

Update: Dome Re-Entry

We wanted to take a minute to update everyone on dome training since the province has moved York Region into the Red Zone. Even though the current provincial classification would allow us to go back to dome training, the City of Markham will not provide permits to their buildings until March 15th to further try and reduce the potential for community spread.

Until we are provided with permits, your current virtual training will continue. The club is also looking to find temporary locations for the time being. So, we may begin training before March 15th.

Happy New Year 2021 Moving Forward

First and foremost, we hope that this message finds you and all those in your orbit healthy and well.  As 2020 comes to a much welcome end, it provides us a time to reflect on the challenges we have endured and how it has made us resilient as we move forward to the challenges ahead.

TSC is a community.  What keeps us moving forward is the consistent interaction of our resilient, creative and dedicated players, teams, parents and volunteers. It has been a privilege to witness and, in a small way, be part of this massive effort to keep the club functioning and moving forward in these challenging times.

We remain optimistic that our Thornhill Soccer Club will emerge from this period wiser and stronger than ever, thanks to the dedication and resourcefulness of volunteers, coaches, managers, and technical staff.

We thank you for allowing us to have served you in the past and look forward to being part of serving the Thornhill soccer community in the years to come.

We wish you all the very best for the upcoming New Year 2021.
