Welcome to the Thornhill Challenge Cup and Festival – August 17th & 18th

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Thornhill Challenge Cup and Festival on August 17th and 18th! This year, over 170 teams have registered, representing 71 clubs from all across Ontario. We are especially excited to extend a warm welcome to a couple of girls’ teams from Quebec who will be joining us this year.

Thank you for your patience as we worked to finalize the schedules. We did our best to accommodate all requests, though we understand that we may not have been able to meet everyone’s preferences. As with any large event, there may still be changes to the schedule leading up to the start of the tournament. We will notify divisions of any changes by email, but we strongly encourage you to regularly check the website for any updates or changes to your games.

As we look ahead to the weekend, the early forecast indicates that we may experience some inclement weather. Please be assured that we will follow Ontario Soccer’s inclement weather policy to ensure the safety of all participants. To stay updated on weather notifications and all tournament information, follow us on X (formerly Twitter) @ThornhillSoccer or on Instagram at thornhill_soccer.

We are looking forward to an exciting weekend of soccer and competition. Thank you again for your participation, and we wish you the best of luck in the tournament!

Tuesday July 16th.- All Sessions Cancelled

We regret to inform you that tonight’s sessions are cancelled. Due to the significant rain we have experienced over the past few days, and with more rain expected, the City has decided to close all fields, including artificial turf, for safety reasons.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants.
