The Thornhill Soccer Club, established in 1973, is, once again, offering outstanding soccer opportunities to the Thornhill community. We are an incorporated not-for-profit community-based organization mainly operated by volunteers but augmented by a staff paid for their services. These services include managing the office’s financial and administrative functions, communicating with various associations and leagues, developing and mentoring referees, providing technical training to coaches and players, providing on-field support such as installing and removing nets, scheduling games, updating the website and numerous other functions.
Training and development of coaches continue to be one of our key initiatives, focusing on the younger age groups to ensure they receive age-appropriate instruction at the outset of their soccer career.
Even though operational costs have risen, we have not increased the rates.

Thunder Starters- U4/U5 Division for Children Born in 2019 & 2018
Co-ed
Parents are encouraged to participate with their child
Sessions are conducted by technical staff once a week with the option for two days (Tuesday or Thursday)
Sessions will consist of essential technical skills, learning basic knowledge of soccer through fun activities culminating with three versus three games
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Bayview Reservoir (next to Thornlea High School)
Start Dates: May 30 (Tuesday group) or June 1 (Thursday group)

Thunder Fundamentals U6/U7/U8 division
* For Children Born in 2017/2016/2015
Separate divisions for boys and girls (Depending on the number of children registered)
Technical staff will supervise divisions with parent volunteers to assist with coaching teams
Sessions conducted two days/week (1 practice and one game – Games format five versus 5)
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Bayview Reservoir (next to Thornlea High School)
Start Date: May 30, 2023. (uniform distribution)
The program will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays

When registering for the outdoor season, check the box next to ‘2023 Outdoor House League’ with the appropriate age group selected.
