All grass fields are closed tonight August 16th. The turf will remain open.

The schedule’s will be posted on Monday August 15th. Registration will take place on Friday August 19th. at the Thornhill Soccer Club 2400 John St. Markham. Registration will take place from 6:00pm-10:00pm.

Heat Warning in effect!

Hot and humid conditions will continue today with temperatures forecast to reach the low to mid-thirties and Humidex values near 40.
An approaching cold front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening, followed by cooler and less humid conditions.

While heat can put everyone at risk from heat illnesses, health risks are greatest for
– older adults;
– infants and young children;
– people with chronic illnesses such as breathing difficulties, heart conditions or psychiatric illnesses;
– people who work in the heat;
– people who exercise in the heat;
– homeless people; and
– people without access to air conditioning.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

Thornhill Soccer Club will cancel House League this evening!
