Soccer fields are closed – June 25th

Unfortunately the city  of Markham has also cancelled all soccer fields permits for today, Wednesday, June 25th, due to ongoing safety concerns, consequently all practices and games are also cancelled.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Soccer fields are closed – June 24th

All soccer fields are closed tonight due to security concerns, Tuesday, June 24th.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????We have been advised by York Region Police that they are currently tracking two vicious animals that have caused harm to a number of residents.  The area affected is Bayview Ave to the West, hwy 407 to the north, hwy 404 to the East, John St. to the South.

As a result, until we have been notified that the animals have been detained we are cancelling permits at the following parks for today, Tuesday June 24, 2014, and future evenings:

·        Huntington Park

·        Bayview Reservoir

·        Thornlea Secondary School

·        Thornlea East Park

·        Green Lane Park

·        Bishops Cross Park

·        St. Roberts Field

·        Duncan Park

·        Bayview Fairways School

We would ask that you Immediately notify your teams that are scheduled to play on these fields that the permit has been cancelled.  We will advise you when the issue has been resolved.

Canada Day Schedule

Due to Canada day there is no House League on Monday, June 30th and Tuesday, July 1st. Normal practices resume on Wednesday, July 2nd.Canada

House League Starts this Week

The recreational league begins with the first practice this evening for the players schedule for Mondays and Wednesdays.  We are still missing in coaches in each age group so you may not have been contacted by a coach.  Even though some of you have not been contacted by a coach please show up at your scheduled time and field location.  There will be club officials there to greet you and run the practice.  For those of you practicing and playing Tuesdays and Thursdays the same procedure applies.

Please make sure your child has shin guards, water, and soccer shoes (preferred but not mandatory).
